Hi, my name's Peter and I'm a computer engineering student at the University of Toronto. I have a passion for programming and computers, particularly in low-level work. I have about 8 years of experience in competitive robotics, so I'm familiar with every aspect of it including CAD, Addative and Subtrative Machining, Wiring, Kinematics, Dynamics, and especially Programming.

FIRST Tech Challenge

I was Team Captain, Lead Programmer, and Lead Driver for the FTC team Lo-Ellen Robotics 16413 across 6 years. This meant I did stuff that includes:

Leading the programming of six custom 18-inch competition robots while mentoring five other teams in design and programming; contributing to more than 15 technical awards for programming, design, and community outreach.
Driving robot to first-place finish at the Ontario Provincial Championship and top-8 out of 72 teams at the international championship.
Fostering an inclusive environment and taught outreach strategies, securing over $15,000 in sponsorships and earning 10 community engagement awards.

FIRST Robotics Competiton

I was Team Lead, Lead Programmer, and Technician for the FRC team Lo-Ellen Robotics 4069 across 3 years. Some of the things I did include:

Wrote robot mechanism and drive kinematics. Implemented and tuned feedback and feedforward control.
Led conceptual design of 3-feet competitive robot, including a 4-DOF arm. Design included selection of mechanical linkages, motors, and control system.
Orangized machining costs and timelines with 5 local and international manufacturers.
Wrote a statistical analysis platform to compare teams and calculate match outcomes and strategy.
Helped troubleshoot other teams' robots and doubled their scoring.
